These viscometers are designed for viscosity tests of petroleum Products. They confirm to requirements of IP 70. Two adoption of Red Wood viscometer are available No. 1 for liquids having Red Wood flow 20 seconds to 2000 seconds and No. II for liquids whose flow time exceeds 2000 seconds and No. II for liquids whose flow time exceeds 2000 seconds. The complete out fit comprises hammer finished Stainless steel both with electrical heating arrangement suitable to operate at 220 Volts AC Mains with tap, silver plated oil cup with precision stainless steel jet, cup cover, ball valve, thermometer-clip. Stirrer and M.S. Sheet stand with leveling screws. As per IP 70 for determination the viscosity of lubricating & fuel oil with SS jet,electrically heated model with energy regulator, redwood viscometer NO.1 for viscosity below 2000 sec & redwood viscometer NO,2 for above 2000sec.

Standard Tar Viscometer used for determining the viscosity of cut back bitumen and road-oil. The viscometer consists of a chrome plated copper bath, with a drain valve and a central tube to receive the test cup and to position the stirrer, and is mounted on a stand with leveling feet. We manufacture mooney viscometer which is a type of shearing disk viscometer, specifically designed for accurate measurement of viscosity, scorch time and cure rates of the elastomers. The instrument consists of flat, cylindrical disk, driven by a motor to rotate slowly and continuously in one direction. This disk is implanted into elastomers specimen, which is confined in a heated die cavity maintained at specified temperature and kept closed by a specified force. As the disk rotates, it experiences a shear strain. This resistance to rotation offered by the elastomer, is shearing viscosity which is proportional to the mean absolute viscosity of the specimen. Normally a preheat period is given to the elastomer following which the disk starts rotating. An initial high viscosity is recorded and then as the viscosity also decreases, to a minimum value.
