Grade A : This is a top quality material with no defects. The fingerboards are 100% black natural ebony, straight grained, no splits.
Grade B : The fingerboards are not 100% black ebony. The wood will contain a little amount of stripes which will be stained in jet black color, little curved grains.
Grade C : This is a typical quality for China market who are making lot of student instruments. The fingerboard wood will contain stripes, splits etc and these fingerboards will be stained in black. The ebony is naturally seasoned for about 6 months and then we start working on the wood to make these fingerboards.
