Tray Dryer is used for the best drying results in convectional process. It is a double walled cabinet with one or two doors. The gap between two walls is filled with high density fiber glass wool insulation material to avoid heat transfer. Doors are provided with gaskets Stainless Steel trays are placed on the movable trolleys.
Dynamically balanced axial flow type blower fans are provided for uniform air circulation in the drying chamber during process. Machine is provided with control panel board with process timer. Digital temperature controller cum indicator etc.
Capacity : 6, 12, 24, 48, 96, 192 trays

Operating Principle
Wet feed is charged as a batch and is subjected to indirect heating while undergoing agitation due to the action of tumbling. The operation is normally carried out in vacuum. Recovery of solvent is possible by condensing the vapours generated during the drying operation.

Air Circulation:

The Integrated Fluidised Spray Dryer combine spray drying and fluid bed drying technologies. Operational flexibility enables production of a wide range of physical properties and excellent thermal efficiency because drying at lower temperature.
The spray is created by a spray nozzle atomizer down towards the fluid bed where agglomeration incorporating finer, recycled material takes place. Exhaust air outlet is let through the roof causing further agglomeration in the spray zone. The recirculation system uses cyclones or bag filters, or a combination of both to recycle fines to the spray dryer chamber, the integrated fluid bed, or the external fluid bed. The process produces non-dusty, free flowing agglomerated powders with high flavor retention. Third stage fluid bed drying / cooling can be done .
Sticky products can successfully be dried, and the concept is ideal for drying heat sensitive products, and improved aroma retention is accomplished.

6. Our hot plate supports are pin type. This has minimum surface contact with hot plates. Because of this , hidden places and gaps are completely eliminated. Hence cleaning of dying chamber is easy and efficient.
7. Our hot plate internal baffles are S.S. 304 quality. This prevents scaling and anodic corrosion over a period and results in long life for hot plates, with M.S. baffles either hot plates have to be changed after 2 to 3 years due to complete deformation or atleast heating efficiency is lost to due slight deformation of hot plates resulting in improper contact between
trays and hot plate top.
8. The gap between hot plate is sufficient even to insert complete
hand in the gap for cleaning or other operations.
9. The chamber door is insulated . This prevents the heat loss, reduces condensate formulation inside the vacuum chamber and reduces the load on air conditioning.
