V rings is fixed on the shafts for sealing axialli against a perpendicular counter face, whether it is the housing itself for a bearing outer surface. Used as primary or backup seals, these can efficiently work as a slinger of foreign materials, especially at higher states.
We provide the four kinds of crown rubber axila face v-rings which can be can be stretched over fittings, flanges or other obstacles and mounted directly on the shaft to eliminate disassembling. These v rings are available in both nitrile and viton(R) material and can accommodate a great deal of both shaft eccentricity and misalignment. The friction of the seals against the axial face decreases width increases of shaft speed because of all centrifugal forces.
Available in CVA, CVS, CVL, CVE standards, each size in both series of V-rings can be used for a variety shaft sizes because of there elasticity.

V-packing set also known a Chevron Seals can stand both axial and radial loading. The pressure rating and low pressure sealing capability can both be increased by using two or more 'V' Rings with female and male adopters also known as gland ring and Header ring. V-Rings could be made of canvas or asbestos impregnated with Nitrile or Viton rubber depending upon the application. These seals can safely seal pressure upto 10,000 psi (700 bar) and can be increased or decreased by number of V-Rings. To seal under static conditions or low pressure, rubber V-rings can also be interposed between the canvas V-rings. Headers are usually metal or impregnated fabric or hard rubber.
