Universal joint is a coupler interposed between double hex sockets and driving tool. Universal joint is useful for tightening nuts located at difficult/angular positions. Industrial universal joints are available from ¼" to 1" square drives.
This universal joint(Cross) are installed in the agricultural machine and is also durable and highly precise. This universal joint is made as per the machine and its components. This universal joint can also be designed as per customer's specifications. The universal joint also performs well even under extreme conditions.
Universal Joint is a coupler, interposed between Bi Hex Socket and the driving tool. The tool is used for tightening nuts located at difficult angular positions that cannot be reached with standard tools.
Our range of universal joints are available in ¼", 3/8”, 1/2”, ¾" and 1”.
Extendable type Joints ( with facility to move- min/max .Length ) are available in all 3 Models-AL/A and V. For special needs, the splines can hardened and ground to provide torque and movement, at the same time. Different coatings ca be offered to suit the environment where these joints are being employed- Blackening and Electro less Nickel coating are some.
We are a trusted name in manufacturing U joints which are available in different sizes as per international specifications or buyer drawings. The commonly used material for U joints are 8620, 16mncr5, 20mncr5, etc. High quality steel is used for forgings of cross bodies and cross cups. Best Quality needle rollers are used with required degree of hardness that is 60 to 62 HRC. The major processes done are in-house which include turning, heat treatment, grinding and assembly. Majorly, we use Moly Grease which has a high degree of wear resistance.
Model A has a centrally hardened bush with a capacity of retaining grease-thus improving life of the joints. Model V ( with needle bearings ) comes filled with grease. Regular lubrication increases the life of all Universal Joints.
We offer Models AL & A ( for speeds upto 800 rpm ) and Model V ( fitted with needle bearings and used for speeds upto 5000 rpm ).Diverse Models cover a bore range from 6 To 50mm shaft diameter- with option of a round/square/hexagon bore and bore keyway. Male pin, Quick Release, Single & double, Hi-speed Joints with a central cross are standard options- in the large range. Stainless Steel joints-in single/double arealso available.
