Ultra High Molecular Weight Polyethylene provides superior resistance to corrosion from chemicals and abrasive environments like sand and slurries when compared to other thermoplastics. It also offers exceptional impact resistance, even at cryogenic temperatures and is superior to stainless steel.
Important characteristics of UHMPWE include low moisture absorption, good electrical and thermal insulation, FDA acceptance for natural (virgin) grades, self-lubrication and chemical inertness (except in some acids).
In machined and fabricated part form, its uses include applications in material handling, agricultural, power transmission and food processing machines as well as in medical devices, shipping and recreational equipment. Some important uses are as wear strips, chain guides, chute and hopper linings, bushings and truck bed liners.

UHMWPE is a high impact engineering polymer that is mainly used for making blocks,sheets,rods&other fabricated items.It has extremely high molecular weight as its polymer chains are 10 to 20 times longer
than high density polyethylene. This gives it the advantage of being free from
stress-cracking and abrasion.The lubricity,chemical resistance and electrical
properties of UHMWPE are the same as of conventional HOPE.These are used as liner and impeller in chemical processing
pumps and in paper mills.
It is also perfect for centric cleaner cones & nozzles,suction box cover, hydrofoils, doctor blades, gears, guides, strips, bottle
feeder, sprockets, chopping & cutting board and other products that are
