Tray Dryer

The tray dryer is a conventional drying machine suitable for drying of powders, granules, and similar other materials.

Description:


* The material is loaded into trays which are placed inside the main chamber. The drying takes place by forced air circulation with the help of blowers provided at the side. The air inside the chamber is heated by tubular air heaters provided at both the sides of the main chamber. The other farms of the heating media are steam and thermic fluid. An electrical panel is provided for controlling the various parameters of the dryer.
* The dryer is provided with a rack system for loading of the trays one above the other. The material is loaded into the trays provided separately and placed inside the racks provided. (A trolley is provided in case of larger dryers for loading and unloading oil of the trays).

The dryers external walls are manufactured from 1.6mm thick Stainless Steel sheets of 304 quality. The internal of the dryer is built of 1.6 mm thick S.S 304 quality sheets. The internal structure is fully TIG welded and all the internals have ground smooth surfaces. It is insulated with minimum 50 mm thick glasswool insulation and Cladded with S,S, Polished sheets. Standard sturdy double wall fabrication. Inner & outer chamber made out of thick mild steel sheet. Inner chamber backed silver paint finish and exterior finished in hammer tone. Heavy duty forced air blower are provided to constantly circulate hot air to achieve uniform temperature in the hole chamber. Double wall door is mounted on heavy hinges and provided with heavy molded latch.
  Temperature is controlled by a thermostat and it can be read on dial type thermometer. Temperature range: 50º C to 250º C ± 2º C to 5º C and equipment is workable on 220 V AC 50Hz single phase or 440 volts A C supply.

Vacuum Tray dryer is the most commonly used batch dryer. They are box-shaped and loaded and unloaded via a door (two doors on the larger models). The medium flowing through the heating plates is water, steam or thermal oil. The distance between the heating plates is determined primarily by the surface loading and the foaming of the product. To void retrograde condensation the cabinet walls are indirectly preheated by the heating plates. Next, the product is introduced and heated at atmospheric pressure. Only after all individual product trays reach the same temperature the cabinet is evacuated and drying can start. The  preheating phase is very important in order that the drying curve and the foaming of the product is identical throughout the cabinet. Air Circulation :
A high effective recirculating air system is provided. The filtered air, heated electrically, is re-circulated with fresh air in selected proportions for optimum drying. Uniform air circulation, controlled temperature, sturdy construction and large working space are the valuables of the oven which is suitably designed to cover wide temperature range. Loading and unloading is faster and simple. In higher capacities trays trolley rolls in and out of the chamber.
