Torodial transformers also known as 22 KV outdoor current transformers is an instrument which is designed for offering the current flow in secondary circuit perpendicular to the amount of current flowing in its primary circuit. It is generally used for measuring the alternating current that flows through a conductor. These torodial transformers can evaluate the alternating current and set up the voltage equivalent to the current, excluding heat and size. The current transformer can be operated with very little insertion loss into the conductor current. They also give voltage isolation between the conductor and the measuring circuitry.
