These low pressure manual welding blow pipes are suitable for welding with oxygen and acetylene gases. In this low pressure system oxygen is taken as usual from a high pressure cylinder but acetylene is generated by the action of water on carbide (usually calcium carbide) in low pressure acetylene generator.
