POLYTONE PA 302 is a polymeric fatty acid based co-solvent grade non reactive polyamide resin in solid for suitable for flexographic and gravure printing inks.It has excellent adhesion to treated polyethylene and other plastics. Polytone PA 303 has good flexibility and very good solvent release properties.

POLYTONE K-93 to 97 are practically acidless, unsaponifiable Ketone Formaldehyde Resins which are very light in colour, have excellent light resistance and show but very slight tendency to solvent retention. Addition of these resins in general improves gloss, hardness, filling, adhesive strength and durability. Polytone Ketonic are available in pearl shaped granules.
Solubility:
POLYTONE KETONIC RESINS are soluble in alcohols(not in methanol), ketones, esters, glycol ether acetates, as well as in some aromatic & chlorinated hydrocarbons. They are however not soluble in water and in aliphatic hydrocarbons.
Application:
POLYTONE KETONIC RESINS are used in the manufacture of flexographic inks, gravure inks, lamination inks and ball point pen inks. These resins are highly effective in imparting gloss, adhesiveness in the inks and also in increasing the solid content in flexo & gravure inks.
