The automatic self-cleaning type filters are in shape of simplex basket filters having off-set or in-line end connections. The combination of solid & hollow back wash arm is coupled to geared motor at one end and to back wash drain nozzle at the other end. The geared motor rotates the back wash arm & simultaneously the motorized drain valve opens to atmosphere.The retained particles on inside surface of element (wedge wire or wire mesh type) are back washed through back wash arm & are drained out.
We offer an array of y strainers. These y strainers are essentially a filter with wire mesh as a filtering media. It is used on the suction line to filter out any solids larger than the mesh size which are trying to pass through the suction line. This y strainers is important for proper functioning of the pump. Non return valves of the pump may become in effective due to loss of metering accuracy. Our collection of y strainers are recommended in the suction line for the process fluids, which are likely to have undesirable solids or lumps in the strainer. Suction strainer has to be cleaned with a regular frequency to avoid hoking of suction. For cleaning suction strainer, close the suction side off valve and unscrew retainer and take out of mesh. Also clean suction strainer systematically with suitable solvent or water, soap and others and refit it.
