Wyn-U Heavy Duty PVC Solvent Cement is used for welding, bonding and plumbing joints of all types of plastic pipes and other plastic parts best for any utility. Most forms of PVC conduit, duct, and fittings are meant to be assembled or joined by means of solvent-cementing of the PVC couplings. Solvent cements contain chemicals which act on the surface of the PVC, and prepare appropriately for strong cementing, cross linking the surfaces to weld with each other, creating a strong and leak proof bond. Product Features: PVC cement is a free flowing transparent liquid, air dries in 2 minutes and after curing has a pull strength of 4.7 kg/cm2. PVC solvent cement is fast drying and must be applied as quickly as possible. Assembly should be made within 20 seconds after the application of cement. If there is any sign of drying of the cemented surfaces, they should be recoated. Hold the assembly in place for approximately 1 minute to prevent the conduit or duct from backing out of the fitting
