Our solar security lights combine the power of solar panels, battery storage and infrared motion sensor circuits. The solar panel collects solar energy by converting the sunlight’s rays into electricity and storing the energy into rechargeable batteries throughout the day. As the dusk sets in, the light automatically detects the lighting levels either using the solar panel as a “photo eye” or using a photocell to detect the light. After dark, the motion sensor circuit is triggered and causes the infrared and motion detector to turn the light source on tracking any movement.
