Sodium Metasilicate is produced by adding appropriate quantity of sodium hydroxide to an aqueous sodium silicate solution of higher weight ratio so as to adjust the resultant ratio (Na2:SiO2) between 1:0.90 and 1:1.5 or as per requirement of the customer. The resultant solution is later crystallized so as to form silicate in powder form having total solids between 20% and 60%. Uses of Sodium Meta Silicate.
