ZEUTECH ZL pumps have a modern, new piston design. The non-contacting contra-rotating lobes combine, due to their geometry the advantages of the area seal of the pistons, against the casing/cover with the line seal between the pistons. High precision and close tolerances lead to narrow packed sealing gaps which only permit minimal back flow and in this way guarantee high levels of efficiency. The shape of the ZEUTECH piston prevents the medium for being squashed and ensures a non destructive displacement. Design ZEUTECH ZL pumps feature a modern novel lobe design. Every feature of Rotary Lobe Pumps has been specifically designed to make dismantling (whether for inspection, cleaning or maintenance) quicker, easier and cheaper. What's more, the forward-seal positioning places the seals in direct contact with CIP fluids. Superior seal cleanliness lengthens seal life and minimizes seal flaking (product contamination). And because the seals are located directly behind the rotors, areas of product entrapment are eliminated for superior hygienic performance. In fact, the ZL range has EHEDG (European Hygienic Equipment Design Group) certificate for cleanliness from the TNO laboratory in the Netherlands. Lobe pumps can be used for both thin and viscous liquids up to 1,000,000 centipoise can be handled with a self-priming capability up to 4m, capacity range up to 100 M³/hr and head up to 250m.
