We offer a ribbon blender to our clients for their various industrial needs. The ribbon blender and their sides are manufactured by us from Stainless or Mild steel materials. It comprises of a stainless steel or mild steel centre shaft fitted with specially designed agitator blades for providing the contra flow action. These blenders are equipped with a couple of ribbons. The outer ribbon moves the ingredients into the blender whereas, the inner ribbon constantly circulate the material.
The drive of these consists of a gear box coupled with a heavy-duty motor. These blenders are provided with stuffing boxes on its either ends to prevent leakage. It also consists of a hopper and a discharge for loading and unloading of the processed material.- Servotex Engineers

OPERATION:

To ensure proper mixing, only two-third of the volume of the cone blender is filled up. Ribbon blenders consist of a U-shaped horizontal trough and a specially designed and fabricated double helical ribbon shaft rotating within. A ribbon agitator consists of a set of inner and outer helical ribbons. The outer ribbons move the material from the ends to the center while the inner ribbons move the material from the center to ends. This counter-current action causes good blending. The ribbons rotate at approximately 100 meters per minute and move the materials both radially and laterally to insure thorough blends in short cycle times.
Ribbon agitators are used for blends that will be between 40% and 100% of the rated capacity of the blender. The paddles are positioned to move materials in opposing lateral directions and radially. The paddle design is normally applied where friable materials are being blended and when batches as small as 25% of the total capacity are going to be mixed.
