Type 1 (Shore 300) : Silicone hose with 2-3 plies of Polyester reinforcement and an inner ply of Spring Steel. The outer and inner surfaces are smooth. Applications : Heating and cooling systems in buses, coaches and industrial vehicles. Fluid Transmission in applications where high flexibility is required. Type 2 (Shore 310) : Silicone hose with 2 plies of Polyester reinforcement and an inner ply of Spring Steel Wire. The inner surface is smooth while the outer surface is convoluted / corrugated. Applications : Fluid Transmission in applications where high flexibility is required.
