We are manufacturing a wide range of Rectifier Equipment designed for 3 phase 50 Hz AC input supply and are suitable for operations at any voltage between 380 to 440 Volts. These are manufactured of sturdy and liberally rated silicon diodes arranged in a six-phase/ three phase bridge circuit. Secondary cells once exhausted, need to be charged by DC source having a voltage current characteristics to match the one specified by the battery manufactures. The mains supply voltage is stepped down and rectified by using a bridge connected rectifier to produce the desired output for charging the batteries. Output is adjustable within a limited range either in small steps, using one or more rotary switches or smoothly, using a VARIPAC - continuously variable voltage auto transformer. We supply a wide range of bridge rectifiers, which provide full wave rectification for electronic equipment. Our bridge rectifiers are offered with different terminal styling and lead arrangements. Providing maximum power, our products are used in industries such as electric power, metallurgy, petroleum, vehicle manufacturing, consumptive electronics, etc.
These units are available in combination of either Thyristor on primary and diodes on secondary or back to back, i.e. Thyristor's both on primary and secondary. Output ripple content is fairly high, between 20% and 30% unless special chokes / filters are used and which make the system expensive. Further, in the event of electrical shorting, expensive Thyristor's are to be replaced. Advantages : i. More efficiency. ii. Faster response to auto process control systems. iii. More compact construction compared to conventional. Disadvantages : i. Highly susceptible to external short circuits. ii. Generates high rate of ripple on DC output. iii. Maintenance easy but expensive.
