Drawn-cup, full - complement needle bearings (NA / NK / NKI / NKIS Type) consist of a deep-drawn cup with a full complement of needles. In some needle bearings the needles are retained by the cup lips, in others by the grease. Spherical-ended rollers are used in the grease-retained needle bearings.
Drawn-cup, caged needle bearings are identical to full-complement bearings, except that a cage is used. They provide higher speeds and reduced load bearing capacity. They have better tolerance for misalignment.
Heavy-duty needle bearings have a heavy outer ring made from materials, load capacity is higher. There is a problem of slippage between the roller and raceway surfaces, which occurs because the rollers are cylindrical rather than tapered.

Needle roller bearings have a cylindrical needle-type roller with a comparatively small diameter, where the length is greater than the diameter. Needle roller bearings have small cross-sectional height, and compared with other types of bearings, feature high load capacity and rigidity compared to the space taken by the bearing. Another feature is the low inertial force, which is appropriate for oscillating motion. Using these bearings, it is possible to make mechanical equipment smaller and lighter in weight. Cold forged roller tappet body is made of heat-treated 8620-alloy steel. We do cylindrical body design for improved tappet stability in the lifter bore. Heat-treated and micro-finished needle bearings is used to provide maximum efficiency. This roller tappet body has a great load bearing ability with enhanced wear resistance to increase overall durability.
Caged needle bearings possess an outer ring made from through hardened bearing steel. The cage, guides the needles and retains them in the outer ring . The bearings may be used without an inner ring if the shaft journal serving as a raceway is of sufficient hardness and has the correct surface finish. To ensure that the full load capacity of these bearings is achieved, a hardness of 58-64 HRC is required. Full complement needle bearings have a through-hardened outer ring which results in high static and dynamic load capacities and an ability to withstand overloading, shocks and vibration. They are particularly suitable for operations involving oscillating motion but may not accept high speed conditions where good alignment is necessary .This can more easily be achieved using a convex inner ring raceway. The retention of needles in outer ring enables the bearings to be installed easily during assembly. These bearings are available with or without an inner ring from 12 mm bore size. Standard complete bearings type NA have an inner ring with convex raceway form. If extra wide inner rings or rings with lubrication hole are required, they should be ordered separately for use with corresponding RNA series.
