Air break drum controllers are manufactured in accordance with customer specification. They are suitable for controlling A.C & D.C motors used in E.O.T cranes, haulages in mines, winches, steel works. Mainly three sizes are manufactured, 40 Amps, 60 Amps, 150 Amps. Provided with stator reversing contacts.
A star wheel and roller arm give definite step location. The crank type-operating handle is provided with off position trigger to prevent accidental starting or unwanted reversing. Operating handle is provided with deadman handle if required by the client Auxiliary contacts are provided for Electrical inter locking.

Master controllers are of cam operated type wherein the contacts are actuated as per required program by cams mounted on operating shaft. The shaft is supported on bearing bushes mounted on housing walls. The cams are of delrin material mounted on square spindle, which is rotated by a handle. These cams open/close the contacts of silver cadmium mounted on supporting blocks of melamine/delrin.
These controllers are available in two types, which provide the driver with easy to use facilities for selecting the required destination. Apart from storing the destination database and sending messages to the signs, the controllers can also monitor the performance of the displays.
The ERIC + controller has a full alphanumeric keypad. It can be used as a master controller for a variety of other on-board electronic systems, for example:

Thrustor brakes are suitable for 400/400 volts. 3 phase a. C supply for a wide range of drum sizes from 100 mm to 600mm dia. The braking pressure to the shoes is transmitted from the springs by means of an extremely rigid and simple lever / tie rod mechanism. release of the brake shoe is effected by energizing the 3 phase thrustor which over comes the spring force and the shoes are moved clear off the drum by lever / arm linkage system so that the drum is free to rotate without any friction. the angle of the brake shoe being 90 degree makes the replacement and mainteance of the brake shoes easy at site. Also wearing of lining is much less than conventional brakes. makethrustor which forms part of the brake is a self contained unit and comprises of a centrifugalpump and impeller driven by an electric motor. Our master controller contact body is made of night grade melamine suited for heavy duty and non tracking. It is extremely capable of withstanding heavy arcing. The contacts have maximum current capacity of 40 amps at 500 V.A.C. Its contact tips are made from high grade silver cadmium alloy.
