MAGNETIC LEVEL SWITCH - SIDE MOUNTED
Magnetic level Switch(side mounted type) is float operated working on magnetic repulsion principle. Simple in design and robust in construction together with strict quality control makes the switch a very reliable product. This can be used for initiating high or low audio-visual signals or automatic level control of liquids in pressurised or open tanks, containers, hot water service, sterilizing equipment and a variety of process control fluid tanks.
OPERATION
The float assembly carries a permanent magnet. With the float movement this magnet repels another magnet kept inside the switch housing which inturnactuates a micro-switch having snap action of contacts.

MAROLI Float Switch type MFS-0401 is specially designed for level control purposes in water tanks. The float switch assembly consists of main body (to be mounted on tank wall) and float hinged on the main body. A reed relay is embedded in the main body and a magnet inside the float. The float switch can be mounted on tank wall to indicate and control "Tank Full" or "Tank Empty" positions or any other level position in the tank. When the water in the tank is full or empty the float (with magnet inside it) comes in line with the reed relay (in main body) and relay switch is "ON". The main body and float are made of food rade poly carbonate. This switch can be used in vending machine, water tanks with hot or cold water.

FUNCTION:
The electronically stimulated fork vibrates at its mechanically resonance frequency of 400 Hz when the fork is free of the service material. The resonance is caused by the piezoelectric crystals. One of the piezo crystals produces a small voltage which is transmitted to the switching amplifier. If the fork is covered by the bulk material, a damping effect is produced and the piezo crystal does not produce the voltage and the amplifier will switch and a corresponding signal output is actuated.
