Liquid glucose is a colorless or lemon yellow, transparent and viscous liquid that is obtained from purified corn starch through hydrolysis. It also has an advantage of anti-crystallinity and a lower freezing point. Finding wide application in food industry it is used for candy, beverages (juice drinks, solid drinks, tea drinks), wine, enzyme preparations, preserved fruit, jam, baked foods etc. It also posses features like high viscosity, humidity, sweetness and pervasion.
