Electronic Data Sheet for Magnetic Float Swtiches

Our range of top mounted float level switches are used for small tanks as well as large vessels. These consist of a guide pipe made from SS 304/SS 316, a magnetic float of SS 316 that moves on the tube with rise and fall of level. In addition, these are hermetically sealed reed switches and are housed in the guide pipe and can be fixed at any position through out the length of the pipe.
Apart from this, our range is available with an accuracy of +/-5mm and process connection is 3” NB flange as per ASA 150# or any other standard as per clients requirement. The floats are hydro tested to work at 15 Kg/cm2 and the working temperature of our product is 90 Deg C.
In addition, our range is useful for diesel/furnace oil day tanks and are supplied with IP65/EX-Proof
Gr 11A & 11B enclosures. The other applications of our products are in vending machines, small tanks, pumping stations, water tanks.

MAROLI Float Switch Type MFS-0401 is specially designed for level control purposes in water tanks. The Float Switch Assembly consists of main body (to be mounted on tank wall) and float hinged on the main body. A reed relay is embedded in the main body and a magnet inside the float.
The Float Switch can be mounted on tank wall to indicate and control "Tank Full" or "Tank Empty" positions or any other level position in the tank. When the water in the tank is full or empty the float (with magnet inside it) comes in line with the reed relay (in main body) and relay switch is "ON". MAGNETIC LEVEL SWITCH - SIDE MOUNTED
Magnetic level Switch(side mounted type) is float operated working on magnetic repulsion principle. Simple in design and robust in construction together with strict quality control makes the switch a very reliable product. This can be used for initiating high or low audio-visual signals or automatic level control of liquids in pressurised or open tanks, containers, hot water service, sterilizing equipment and a variety of process control fluid tanks.
OPERATION
The float assembly carries a permanent magnet. With the float movement this magnet repels another magnet kept inside the switch housing which inturnactuates a micro-switch having snap action of contacts.

Our switches have many advantages over traditional hand expansion valve and mechanical float valves.
The switch assembly uses a heavy micro switch which is sealed in housing and the float chamber is a very rugged made of steel. A high pressure tested float ball moves up and down via large diameter stem. Its movement is accurately guided by an attractor and an alignment guide and the deflector plate protects the ball from sudden surge. Two numbers spring are provided on the top and bottom to protect the ball.
