This equipment is specially designed for testing of the porosity of lacquer or wax which is internally coated on tubes as per ISI std. The coated tube is filled with test-solution containing copper sulphate and copper electrode is immersed in this solution. The tube itself makes contact with the cathode and fixed small D.C. potential is then applied between the sliding top copper whose flow is proportional to the areas of the surface not covered by internal coating. In addition visual indication is provided by deposition of copper if coating is not continuous. The equipment is capable of giving reading direct on LED display. The mixer operates with plough shape type mixing elements and is designed for dry mixing of powders, granulates and fiber particle containing products. Differences in volume ranging to 1:100000 can be mixed homogeneously within a few minutes. The drum, unilaterally supported on one side, is tilt able and has a 5 liters capacity. Operating capacity is between 3-4 liters. The mixing drum made of stainless steel has a removable cover through which the material can be loaded and unloaded. The mixing tools as well as the connecting flange of the mixing drums are of stainless steel and are highly polished. The drum is attached with an adjustable tension spring. Laboratoty Pulverizer is a disc type grinder, designed to grind virtually any material to produce a fine mesh sample in one operation. It is a self contained grinder, with a rotary disc, having a planetary movement in a vertical plane. This feature gives added life to the moving parts and produces a sample of uniform fineness. Grinding is done between two discs, one of which is stationary and the other revolving eccentrically at high speed. The discs are made from heat treated mechanite metal.
