The infinite control switch gives infinite control for non-inductive loads up to 15 Amps on 120 or 240 V-AC (cannot be used with an external conductor). It can be turned either to left or right to adjust proper heat from 0-100% wattage with infinite control over the first 50% of total wattage. Energized continuously in HI position, at other settings it delivers selected input level under control of a simple bimetal timer. Normally any Machines (or) Equipments like A/C’s, UPS, Lifts, Motors 3 Phase incoming supply to be given in a right sequence, i.e(R,Y,B,). The Phase angle of 120o between the phases R,Y,B os to be maintained to run 3 phase Motors. If the sequence is changed instead of R, Y,B to R,B,Y the motor tends to rotate in the reverse direction. If the sequence is changed for loads like 3 phase A/C’s, UPS’s and Lifts they will stop working due to the inbuilt sequence protection feature. Only when the input sequence is changed manually, they starts functioning. In the case of 3 Phase UPS, due to working sequence, the input supply will be cut and the starts working in the battery mode resulting in discharge of battery.
