Spectrum Cross Beater type Coffee Hullers are extremely efficient in hulling both parchment and dry cherry coffee. Reduced friction between beans prevents generation of dust and results in minimum loss of good product due to breakage of the beans.
Coffee is fed through the hulling cylinder and forced through the perforated screen by the cross beaters. A powerful Aspirator then separates the husk and peels from the coffee beans.
An Oscillating screen, adjusted by a stepless adjustable drive separates hulled and unhulled coffee. In the oscillating screen, unhulled coffee moves towards the centre of the screen and is collected through a duct whereas the hulled coffee beans move towards the outer rim of the screen and is discharged through an outlet duct.
Swing down doors allow quick and easy access to the hulling cylinders for cleaning or replacement of blades and perforated screen.

The MITSUN Hull beaters are designed to efficiently beat cotton seed hull to remove thr fine flory meats adhering to the hulls. This will reduce the oil content in the hull to the minimum. The beating is done by two heavy square beaters revolving in drums of perforated metal. The drumalso revolve slowly so that they are self cleaning. The fine meats with fine hulls, passing through the perforated metal are dropped below at the conveyor. The MITSUN hull beaters are fitted with heavy duty flanged ball bearing self aligning and pre –lubricated unit at ends and a rigid steel frame . All shafts gears and chain drive are extra heavy to give long, trouble free operation. The Drum tray is counter –balanced to give a smooth running unit. All these features which are MITUSN specialty enable the machines to give maximum capacity at minimum horse power.
The Impact Huller is used for the dehulling of sunflower seeds, neem seeds etc., with high dehulling efficiency and a minimum amount of brokens feeding control device regulates the material to be dehulled to the rotor where it is radially accelerated. The grooved impeller flights of the rotor align the product horizontally in travelling direction to hit the impact ring. By hitting the impact ring the husk is separated from the kernel. The mixture consisting of kernels, husks and unhulled product is discharged through an outlet hopper. The huller removes the tough seed coat with a series of knives and shakers. Hulling System
McKINNON Africa Hullers are specially designed to treat dry cherry. The machine consists of a cylinder fitted with feeding and hulling ribs, enclosed in a strong casing, the lower portion of which is perforated to allow the husks to pass into the husk chamber. The hulling is effected by means of the triturating action between the hulling blade and the ribs on the cylinder. The cylinder at the feed end is provided with a number of ribs set at an angle for facilitating the feed and allowing the coffee to proceed from one end of the cylinder to the other.
At the delivery end, there are three angular pieces called lifters used for the purpose of lifting the coffee to the delivery spout. The shells and the dust falling in the husk chamber are then blown out by the fan fitted in the feed end frame of the machine.
