To heat a number of round bottom flasks simultaneously (for extractions, distillations, and digestions) Extraction Mantle may be used. All Extraction Mantles are fitted with individual energy regulators with indicator light for each heating surface, allowing liquids with different boiling points to be heated alongside each other. The robust construction permits continuous operation of the units as required by routine extraction tests.

The soxhlet extraction mantels consists of a rectangular box housing the heaters and built-in controls. The flexible and elastic heating element ensure close contact with the flask and even distribution of heat over the entire surface.
It provides uniform heating of flasks upto 400 degree Centigrade and has built in energy regulator.

These mantles are made of a knitted layer of glass fabric combined with flexible heating elements encased in an Alluminium Housing duly painted. The temperature ranges from ambient to 350C controlled by Sunvic Energy Regulator / 3 Heat Rotary Switches (as ordered by the customer). Suitable glasswool insulation is provided to prevent heat loss. Supplied with suitable length of flexible wire to operate on 220 / 230 Volts, AC supply.
Heating mantle is suitable for laboratories as well as industries like chemical, pharmaceutical, glass plants, etc. The net of these heating mantles is designed with tight knitting with no joint from top to bottom. This ensures strength for high temperature applications up to 350C. The body of the heating mantles is made of one piece from non rusting aluminium in different capacities.
