The copper alloy(cupro nickel tubes) that is used for heat exchangers and condensers has certain specifications like, it contains 1 to 4.5 wt % of Zn, 1.0 to 2.5 wt %, preferably 1.5 to 2.0 wt % of Sn, 0.005 to 0.05 wt %, 0.01 to 0.04% of P, and the rest balance substantially copper and unavoidable impurities. This particular alloy tubes exhibit high levels of corrosion resistance like, stress corrosion cracking, dezincification corrosion and more.
