  AMMONIA CRACKING FURNACE (Natural Gas Fired) This is a round furnace. It has ceramic blanket insulation lining on the walls and on the top. Floor of furnace is refractory bricks lined. In this furnace retort is suspended form the top. The retort is made of 20% - 25% Chrome I Nickel seamless tubes. This material is suitable upto 1100° C temp. and safe for operating temperature for around 850 deg. C.( maximum). The retort is centrifugal casted having thickness of around 10 mm. On the side wall of the furnace Natural Gas Burners are provided to heat the Furnace.
