Ex-309 Tangent Galvanometer:
The tangent galvanometer we manufacture comprises bake lite ring 170 mm dia with three sets of windings either 2,50,500 turns or 2,5,50 turns as required which are connected to brass terminals. It is between the terminals where the number of turns is marked. This ring is mounted on a pivoted round bake lite base.
Tangent Galvanometer Magnetometer supported on brass tube fitted on bakelite plate free to revolve in the base of the instrument. Magnetometer and bakelite ring both can rotate independently of the base, fitted with levelling screws. These galvanometers are available with moving coil DC galvanometer MO 65 over all size 85 mm dia. These are mounted on a disk stand and avails accuracy of 1.5% of the full scale, sensitivity 15 to 20 MA per division.

a) Spot Galvanometer :
The galvanometer has built in lamp & scale arrangement is housed in backelite case. It operates 220 Volts A.C. Mains. A universal shunt powers of 110, 1/100 and 1/1000 is also incorporated. The galvanometer has a mechanical locking device for the coil which is suspended with the help of a fine phosphor bronze strip. The spot light can be set at any point of the scale with the help of zero adjusting knobs. Coil Resistance is 100 Ohms approx. and sensitivity 0.04 to 0.05 microamperes per mm, Critical Damping Resistance is 1000 ohms approximate and time period 18 seconds approximately.
b) Spot Galvanometer :-
Same as above but having coil resistance of about 600 ohms giving senstiveness of 1 to 1.3 micro Amps for 75 mm deflection. more...

a) Ballistic Galvnometer :-
Introduced very new type of ballistic Galvanometer. The box & base are made of Aluminum. A large coil wound on nonmagnetic & non-conducting material is suspended by a phosphor bronze wire in pole piece of a very strong permanent magnet. It carries an optical True concave mirror of about 1 cm. dia, A zero adjuster is provided at the top. The coil can be damped by a lever when not in use. The whole Front panel is covered by glass plate so teacher can demonstrate each & every thing in the ballistic galvanometer to the students.
The time period of moving coil is 10 to 12 seconds.
