The main body of the Treatment Unit shall be in rectangular shape made out of SS, which would be provided with overflow connection, drain connection, water inlet connection, steam injection and air connection etc.
The product is moved on a modular conveyor belt made out of food grade PVC. The Treatment Unit shall be horizontal conveyor type fitted with the cold water perforated trays over the modular belt. The purpose of spraying the cold water over the sliced vegetables or pea grains is to cool down the product upto room temperature. For the recirculation of water a SS /PP pump shall be fitted with the machine. The Treatment Unit is filled with treated water. The speed of the conveyor belt can be adjusted so as to regulate the residence time for different products as applicable.
