Feldspar are one of the most abundant-rock forming minerals in the earth's crust, comprising a complex of varieties. The term Feldspar designates a group of minerals that have a general similarity in physical and chemical properties. The Feldspars are indeed so much alike in appearance and general properties that they cannot be told apart megascopically except in specially Favourable circumstances.

Grade: Potash White Potash Pink
One of the most important materials for medium and high temperature ceramic glazes. It supplies potash, alumina, silica and often some magnesia can calcia to the glaze. Potash feldspars are not usually as pure and white as soda spars. A feldspar is called ' potash' it there is more sodium than potassium. There are no real deposits that have the theoretical 17% KO, none are even close to tis , they have a mix of potassium and sodium.
Glazes high in feldspar (35% or more) are likely to produce crazing problems. Flux saturated glazes with more that 50% feldspar may be unbalanced and lack adequate glass former or alumina.

Feldspar is a group of mineral silicates of much importance as rock-constituents. Feldspar is much used in the manufacture of porcelain by reason of its fusibility. We manufacture and supply felspar, which is pure, and natural that cater to the needs of various industries. Its an abundant group of rock-forming minerals which constitute 60% of the earth's crust. Chemically the feldspars are silicates of aluminum, containing sodium, potassium, iron, calcium, or barium or combinations of these elements. Feldspar is found in association with all rock types, including granite, gneiss, basalt, and other crystalline rocks, and are essential constituents of most igneous rocks. Feldspar minerals are essential components in igneous, metamorphic and sedimentary rocks, to such an extent that the classification of a number of rocks is based upon feldspar content. The mineralogical composition of most feldspars can be expressed in terms of the ternary system Orthoclase (KAlSi3O8), Albite more...

Feldspar is the mineral name given to a group of minerals distinguished by the presence of aluminum (Al) and the silica ion (SiO4) in their chemistry. This group includes aluminum silicates of soda (sodium oxide), potassium (potassium oxide), or lime (calcium oxide). Feldspar is the single most abundant mineral group on Earth. Together, the varieties of feldspar account for one half of the Earths crust.Feldspar, a rock-forming mineral, industrially important in glass and ceramic industries, pottery and enamelware, soaps, abrasives, bond for abrasive wheels, cements and concretes, insulating compositions, fertilizer, poultry grit, tarred roofing materials, and as a sizing (or filler) in textiles and paper. Albeit is a feldspar mineral and a sodium aluminum silicate. This form of feldspar is used as a glaze in ceramics. Feldspar is used to make dinnerware and bathroom and building tiles. In ceramics and glass production, feldspar is used as a flux
