The digital penetrometer defaults to the standard ASTM interval of 5 seconds, or the operator may program a different interval in the range between 0.1 and 9999.9 seconds. A curing or temperature stabilization period may also be programmed, and for added convenience, all selected parameters are retained in memory and automatically repeated in subsequent tests until changed by the operator.
