Construction
The outdoor porcelain clad vacuum circuit breakers (PCVCB) are manufactured in 11KV and 33KV configurations. The Porcelain Clad Vacuum Circuit Breaker manufactured is of PCESVAC – PCVCB Type. These PCVCB’s can be connected to overhead transmission lines and used for various applications.
These breakers are supplied with a lattice structure made of Galvanized Iron and the breakers are mounted on this arrangement. The breaker can be mounted on a plinth of adequate height to meet the statutory requirement of clearance of HT live parts to ground level. The PCVCB is of open terminal type construction with vacuum interrupter housed in weather proof porcelain insulators. The manual/motor spring charging mechanism and closing/tripping coils are housed inside the sheet metal enclosure that conforms to IP55 protection.
