Digital Temperature Controller can be used as a simple ON/OFF controller or it can very simply be programmed to automatically calculate the PID values of the process. Self tune mode is selected via the front key pad and once initiated will calculate the optimum P, I and D values for the process. The PID values are stored in the E squared PROM and may be read back from the programme at any time.

The Digital Proportional Temperature controllers Series 1552, are designed to measure, display and control temperature, of furnaces over wide range, with high accuracy using Silicon Controlled Rectifier as a power controlling device. Different sensors may be used for desired temperature control range. Use of SCR proportional controller minimizes overshoot/undershoot of the furnace and completely eliminates contact problem associated with relay/contactors.
The measured temperature is displayed on 3.5 digit LED display. Automatic cold junction compensation (Thermocouples), broken sensor indication & sensor linearization using DFG techniques are the standard features.
