Our industrial moisture separator eliminate 99% of entrained contaminants including moisture, pipe scale, dirt and oil to improve the operating efficiency of pneumatic equipment as moisture is contaminant present which causes the most damage. When used on steam service, these provide cleaner, drier steam to heat exchangers, steam turbines and other processing equipment that requires clean dry steam. Our separators are available for different flows, line sizes, pressure, temperature, material flame rating with an advanced moisture relief system.

Oil and Emulsion Mist Separators In metal processing, the aerosol formation by oil and cooling lubricants poses the main exhaust air cleaning problem. Cooling lubricants are emulsions made of the basic components of water and mineral oil as well as different synthetic additives such as e.g. anti corrosives, biocides and emulsifying agents. To ensure the necessary safety at work, in many cases, maximum aerosol concentrations in a dimension of approx. 5 mg/m3 and less are required in the ambient air.

As an alternative, JK can supply a one-piece, flat packed needled tube that is very easily placed over the perforated tube or pipe. The
density of the pack is much more evenly distributed than wrapping loose wool and because the pack is needled together it is less likely to migrate in operation.

NCS-Mesh, mist eliminators are porous blankets of metal wire or plastic knitted mesh, designed and constructed for the efficient, economical removal of entrained liquid droplets from vapor streams. NCS-MESH Pads can be fabricated in any required size and shape and may be installed in new or existing process vessels. HOW IT WORKS When vapor and entrained liquid droplets pass through a NCS-MESH mist eliminator, the vapor moves freely through the mesh pad but the liquid droplets, due to their greater inertia, cannot make the necessary sharp turns and as a result are thrown into contact with the wire surfaces and briefly held there. As more droplets enter the pad and collect on the wires, they grow in size, run down the wire to the bottom surface of the mesh separator and fall from the unit. Overhead vapor is now free of entrained liquid
