Soluble Cutting Oils are excellent for usage in cutting operations on ferrous and non ferrous metals. These are superior emulsifying cutting oils, compounded by use of fine petroleum base and special emulsifiers. To form stable emulsion, the oil should always be added to the water with continuous stirring. The proportion may somewhat vary depending upon the hardness of the water and the application areas. We recommend a higher proportion of our lubricant for harder water or for grinding process. The general mix ratio is 1:20 dilution in water for heavy jobs and 1:30 dilution in water for light jobs, up to 400 to 600 ppm of hard water.

It has minimum mist forming tendency when used in high pressure coolant fed systems. The use of Rothmans Cut 253 oplmises filter life due to its low sludging tendency at operating temperatures.
