We offer a wide range of crown gear that are used in automobile components. These
gears can be connected to wheel gears and worm gears to change the direction of motion. The teeth of the crown gears are raised in one side of the gear which gives the gear an appearance of a crown. They are attached to the axle at right angles to create the force. Our products are forged as per the exact specification set by Ashok Leyland and are isothermally annealed at closely controlled temperatures to obtain uniform dimension after heat treatment. These are subjected to uniform case hardening which is done at controlled atmospheric temperature and press quenched to avoid distortion.
In addition to this, selective case hardening is done to impart maximum strength to the pinion to maximize wear resistance. After this, these products are tempered at controlled temperature conditions to maximize wear resistance. These are paired and checked for centralized tooth bearing and desired proximities.- R.K.
