A cylindrical shell with two conical frustums is present in this blender. Openings are present for charging & discharging, Specially for discharging, butterfly valves are present in them. "V" Blenders are used for mixing of solid-solid or solid with liquid (Maximum 10%) in powder or granulated form. The mixer has a "V" shaped body held by two horizontal half shafts hold in bearing blocks & mounted on a sturdy structure.
