Evaporators designed by us are skid-mounted and consists centrifugal feed pump, feed pre-heater, combined vaporizer/condenser and a water vapour blower. It is a complete unit with various interconnecting pipes that work in place and pre-wired with a local control panel for processing purpose. Evaporators are hooked up to fresh water for cleaning purposes and to electrical power or auxiliary steam to control the pressure of the system. Optionally, an auxiliary electrical heater is also supplied, if steam is not available. Technologically designed, our evaporator use 80-90% less energy than conventional single stage evaporators, depending on the size of the system. Evaporators are specially designed to separate water on boiling temperature.

We manufacture and supply precision-engineered industrial evaporators that are thermal concentrators used for concentrating dilute liquids, for increasing solids content & for reducing the volume by evaporating water.
The evaporators are based on the economy of steam i.e. kg of solvent evaporated per kg of steam used. By reusing the evaporated solvent as a heating medium, higher steam economies can be achieved. This technique of increasing the utilization of steam is used in multi-effect evaporators. In the multi-effect evaporators, vapor from the first effect is passed over to the next effect in which boiling take place at a lower pressure & temperature.
Thermo-compression evaporators are another technique to increase the steam economy. In these evaporators the vapor of evaporated solvent is compressed & is used as a heating medium in the same evaporator.

The forced circulation evaporator is suitable for processing liquors which are susceptible to scaling or crystallizing. Liquid is circulated at a high rate through the calandria, boiling being prevented within the unit by virtue of a hydrostatic head maintained above the top tube plate. As the liquid enters the separator where the absolute pressure is slightly less than in the tube bundle, the liquid flashes to form a vapor.
The main applications for a forced circulation evaporator are in the concentration of inversely soluble materials, crystallizing duties, and in the concentration of thermally degradable materials which result in the deposition of solids.
Forced circulation evaporators normally are more expensive than film evaporators because of the need for large bore circulating pipework and large recirculating pumps. Operating costs of such a unit also are considerably higher.- Ketav Consultant
