We offer the cartridge type pressure filter which is designed to use the pressure mechanism for filtration. The dirty fluid is pushed in the filter housing under pressure. Filter elements of correct filtration rating are placed in the housing depending on the flow & other requirements. Cartridge filters are simple, effective & economic filtration devices. Normally an accordion pleated paper cartridge is popular filtration device. However there are several applications where these paper fiiter cartridges are useless.
To cater for a verity of applications including filtration of water based fluids; stack type cartridges are used. Alternate stack of plastic separators and filter medium discs form the cartridges. Here the filter medium can be anything like nylon mesh, filter paper, non-woven fabric, polyester felt etc., depending on the requirement of filtration. The stack of filter medium discs and separators essentially performs like a filter press. Several such separator & disc pairs form a cartridge. Liquid filters are mainly classified into two types, Bag Filters and Cartridge Filters. Bag Filters are used where large volumes of liquids are to be filtered containing low levels of solids.
