The Brake Motors offered by us are used where instant stopping of driven load is required. It is the combination of an electromagnetic AC or DC brake and an A.C. induction motor. These are simple, durable and rugged and are easy to maintain. Separate DC supply is not required as rectifier is provided inside the main terminal box to supply the required DC voltage for the brakes. The motor finds application in textile machinery, cranes & hoists, machine tools, printing machinery, rolling mills and material handling equipment.

Brake motors are used for various applications where instantaneous

'Fail Safe Type' i.e. normally on. The brake is applied when the power
to the motor is cut off or power to the motor is switched off or if
power failure occurs.
