Horizontal Boring Mill WRFT 130 represents the newest technology and concept of large table type horizontal borers that are currently on the market. Powerful headstock consists of movable slide ram (V-axis) a moveable live spindle (W-axis). Slise ram deflecion is automatically compensated.
Because of this modern design, Horizontal Boring Mill WRFT 130 is a universal boring and milling machine that allows efficient processing of large and heavy workpieces while conserving high precision and quality of the operation.
Modern control systems (usually Heidenhain) provide very comfortable manipulation of the machine and many useful functions for the user. Vertical Slide is a useful item for every workshop as a boring attachment on lathe. It consists of a table which moves vertically on a column, the movement being guided by a hardened & ground steel tennon.
The table can be clamped in any position by two levers at the back. There are 'T' slots provided on the table for clamping of components. The column & table are made of high grade heavy duty cast iron with brinnel hardness of 180 & above.
They are machined and hand scraped to close tolerances for smooth and trouble free movement. It can be mounted on the cross slide of the lathe either facing the spindle or parallel to the spindle and components can be clamped on the Vertical Slide Table.
The tool is to be mounted on the spindle and drilling or boring operation can be performed by the saddle movement of the lathe. It also finds its application in tool room for inspection & setting out.
