We manufacture closely woven, semi-rigid woven roll lining in metallic/non-metallic compositions, bonded by a high temperature impregnant to give it enhanced mechanical strength and good anti-fade and wear properties. It has high coefficient of friction and is flexible enough to accommodate small changes in radius and to be used as a band lining.
Particularly suitable for high duty applications like industrial brakes, construction and earth moving cranes, mining equipments, forklifts, containers, elevators, agricultural machinery. Transmission brakes, friction dampers, shock absorbers and heavy-duty brakes operating in dry conditions on internal / reverse and external band type applications.

A typical electromagnetic brake is composed of a metal disc (rotor) attached to a rotating axis and electromagnets or permanent magnets positioned to generate a magnetic field intersecting the disc. The electromagnet allows control of the braking action by varying the strength of the magnetic field to produce a braking force, electric current is passed through the electromagnets. As the metal disc rotates inside the magnetic field, electric currents, called eddy currents, are induced inside it.
