Encoders-PGcoders - Absolute
Absolute shaft encoders ENA-8, ENA-9 are electrical transducers, the output of which represents absolute position of the shaft. It is in natural grey, binary or BCD format available upto 9 bits (512 steps per turn). Unlike incremental encoders, each step is exclusive; the digitally defined shaft position, which is not affected by power outage. Ranges above & Multiturn absolute encoders. These are available upto 19 bits are complemented by German make single 7 bits in singleturn and maximum 17 x 12 bit multiturn encoders in various versions. Used extensively in automation industry and robotics where mechanical position is to be retained regardless of noise or power outage.

10 bit Absolute Analogue Servo Encoder (A2SE) type NCP-307
Absolute Analogue Servo Encoder (A2SE) is operating on Hall's effect principle. There is no metallic moving wiper contacting to element and hence no wear and tear or sliding electical noise. Shaft is rotating endlessly in double ball bearings giving very smooth movement. It has excellent mechanical response with no hystersis in the output. A2SE is enclosed in anodized aluminium housing with IP-65 protection. It is ideal for harsh environment applications. A2SE incorporates excellent concept of providing Two simultaneous absolute analog outputs without any extenal device viz: 0-10 VDC, 4-20 mAmp and SSI corresponding to 0-3600.
