New generation of magnetic separators, designed by emf, combines the latest technological achievements in magnetic concentration based on High-intensity, High grade, high power RE- permanent magnets generate an exceptionally high magnetic gradient for the most cost-effective way to process weakly magnetic materials. Optimal separation of the material is achieved by custom design and any number of roll concentrator modules may be used to attain the required throughput or separation.
Dry granules of the material are fed onto short conveyor belts of thin yet durable material passing over rolls of customized magnetic configuration. The non-magnetic particles fall freely off the end of the roll while the magnetic particles adhere momentarily to the roll and are discharged into a separate chute by means of an adjustable splitter below the belt. The modular nature of the emf enables any number of units to be stacked to achieve the required performance.

We present reliable impulse demagnetizer which demagnetizes the magnets in a single shot. It operates on the principle of capacitive discharge. The unit is connected to matching coil which generates high amplitude decaying field. Since the stored energy is used in a single shot, the power consumed by the unit is extremely low. Typically, in one impulse it demagnetizes approx 50 magnets( 12x12x15mm). It operates at approx 20 times/minute and consumes approx .05 kwh units of power. Its coil does not require special water cooling.

An infinite length of belt carrying magnetic candles are dipped in the dirty coolant tank. It is dipped to an extent such that the coolant enters the core of the tank. The coolant is allowed to flow slowly over the magnetic candles leaving the ferrous dirt on its surface. The belt is then programmed to pull out the dirt laden candles and rotate them at the top to remove the dirt which is then transported to a bin outside the tank.
